Joannah grew up on a farm with ponies and horses, was a B Pony Clubber in PA, Rode on the A Circuit, as a junior as well as a senior.

 

She was married to the leading PA Thoroughbred breeder as well as bred, trained and campaigned a number of horses as well as for others. She was runner up the national Equitation Championships, past DC of the Middletown PC and the Aiken County PC. Sits on several boards and committees such as Aiken Steeplechase for the past 30 years and is a Director as well as Co Chair of Trophies at the 114 year old Devon Horse Show and Country Fair in PA, having created the Database for their extensive amount of antique and new trophies.

 

Joannah's Sporting Days Farm  hosts USEA/USEF Events, SCDCTA and GDCTA Dressage & Schooling Shows, Trail Rides, USPC meetings, and Fundraisers.

 

For several years the Horse Trials benefitted the Aiken Chapter of the American Red Cross, and now benefits the local Montmorenci Volunteer Fire Co.
