Draw checks to SDFHT or Sporting Days Farm H.T. Will only be accepted when accompanied by copies of the horses current negative Coggins Test, full payment of entry fees with the entry form and releases properly executed and signed. Management Reserves the Right to limit entries, to add or divide classes, to add or substitute judges or make whatever changes are required by circumstances to the competition specifications herein. Entries will be accepted on a first come basis. If oversubscribed, multiple rides may be limited—please indicate order of preference.
Changes: Must be in writing. Will be accepted up until 7 days prior to competition, after that only substitutions if compatible with time schedule. Each change will cost $15.00. It is recommended fee be sent prior to competition so packet can be collected without waiting.

Refunds: No Rain Date or Entry Refund should weather shut down competition. Before November 10 less $15 Office Fee after only if space filled by waiting list.  Non Competing Horses: May come on the grounds for a $15.00 fee and must sign Release and wear Special Bridle Number.

STABLING/VETERINARIAN: Advise using local farms – see website for list. Limited # on grounds – First night, $45/stall includes 2 bags shavings, $15/stall for additional nights. Additional bedding/hay/feed MUST be pre-ordered by Tuesday, Nov13. Send separate $25 'clean stall deposit' check payable to SDF HT, refundable by mail if stall deemed stripped clean. From North-exit I-20 at exit 22 & take Rte 1 South about 5mi go left on Hwy 118 (Rutland Dr) cross Hwy 302 and go left on Hwy 78.. Note: From Town center About 1 mile from town center Hwy 78 exits to the right (was a fork in the road)  From the West SDF is on the left  2.5mi from Montmorenci Fire Co.  From the East SDF is on the right 1.3mi past Oakwood Elementary School.

CROSS-COUNTRY: Approximate distances: T-1200 m @ 450 mpm. N-1100 m @ 375 mpm. BN-1000 m @ 350 mpm, Tadpole & Amoeba – 900m @ 300 mpm,. All courses: T/N-Average, for horses with some experience at this level. Banks, ditches & water at all levels (optional water for BN, Tadpole & Amoeba).

Turtlenecks or long sleeved shirts with collar may be worn in lieu of Jackets. Jodhpur boots and/or gaiters allowed in lieu of riding boots. Participant understands that there are risks inherent in dealing with horses and ponies (equine activity). For example, Participant understands that some of the inherent risks include:

    1. The propensity of an equine to behave in ways that may result in injury, death, or loss to persons on or around the equine;

    2. The unpredictability of an equine’s reaction to sounds, sudden movements, unfamiliar objects, persons, or other animals;

    3. That there may be hazards, including, but not limited to, surface or subsurface conditions;

    4. the possibility of a collision with another equine, another animal, a person, or an object;

    5. The potential of an equine activity Participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to injury, death, or loss to the person of the Participant or to other persons, including, but not limited to, failing to maintain control over an equine or failing to act within the ability of the Participant

With full understanding of the inherent risks involved in equine activity, some of which have been described in Paragraph 1 above, Participant agrees to wave, release and hold harmless Joannah Hall Glass/Sporting Days Farm from all tort and civil liability arising from or related to participation in equine activity. This agreement to waive, release and hold harmless includes not only Joannah Hall Glass/Sporting Days Farm but her employees, agents, and independent contractors whether they be trainers, veterinary personnel, farriers, equine care providers, and maintenance personnel and the like.
Participant further understands the examples of the equine activity taking place on or with an equine, including, but not limited to:
Riding, jumping, showing, competitions, fairs, trade shows, trail riding, and the like; Teaching, instructing, and evaluation, both the rider and the equine;
Routine care and feeding of the equine (Boarding), including veterinary and Farrier; Traveling, loading and unloading of equines; Breeding activity, both natural and artificial. This Voluntary Waiver Agreement is made and entered into in the State of South Carolina and shall be enforced and interpreted under the courts and laws of the State of South Carolina.
WARNING
Under South Carolina law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in an equine activity resulting from an inherent risk of equine activity, pursuant to Article 7, Chapter 9 of Title 47, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976.
Participant agrees that Participant has been given sufficient time to read, understand, and ask questions, if any, concerning the nature and scope of this Voluntary Waiver Agreement.
