2011 was great fun. Thanks Aiken County Pony Club for great Stadium. And Thanks Ms Ginny for all the help. Thank you MVFC for parking and wetting down the arenas, Margie, Tom for precise perfect Dressage Arenas, Greg Schlappi for the superb cross country design work, Eric Bull, Eugene, Dan & Marcia, Mary, Bambi, Karen, Betsy, Lonnie, Ginny, The Allen Family, Ann & Dave, Sue, Scott & Linda, Judy, Pam, Grace, Mike and the many elves that make Sporting Days the fun place it is. 2011 was a super sized season. We will Host Horse Trials, Pony Club meetings, Mock Hunts, Schooling Shows, and XC Schoolings. See our Calendar. Please contact us if you have a need for our facility. Sporting Days Farm and SDF Association now consists of approx 270. The farm, 20 years young, hosts USEA/USEF Events, SCDCTA and GDCTA Dressage & Schooling Shows, Trail Rides, USPC meetings, and Fundraisers. The SDF farms enjoy approximately 7 + miles of trails, 4 active stables, a 4 ‘arena’ Dressage Court, the Palmetto Pavilion overlooking the Main Show Ring, a few electric/water hookups, a three horse wash rack, primitive camping, stabling for 50, a number of paddocks and an extensive number of Cross Country obstacles including water, banks and ditches. For several years the Horse Trials benefitted the Aiken Chapter of the American Red Cross, and now for the past two years benefits the local Montmorenci Volunteer Fire Co. Joannah grew up on a farm with ponies and horses, was a B Pony Clubber in PA, Rode on the A Circuit, as a junior as well as a senior. She was married to the leading PA Thoroughbred breeder as well as bred, trained and campaigned a number of horses as well as others. She was runner up the national Equitation Championships, past DC of the Middletown PC and the Aiken County PC. Sits on several boards and committees such as Aiken Steeplechase for the past 30 years and is a Director as well as Co Chair of Trophies at the 114 year old Devon Horse Show and Country Fair in PA, having created the Database for their extensive amount of antique and new trophies.
